PUTRAJAYA, August 24th – Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) is proud to announce its partnership with the International Society of Automation (ISA) Malaysia Section in establishing the UiTM ISA Student Section. This collaboration presents an incredible opportunity for the College of Engineering students to engage in meaningful projects and research while receiving support and guidance from ISA Malaysia.
During the recent Malaysia Sustainability Exchange Forum 2023, a soft launch occurred at Zenith, Putrajaya. Representatives from UiTM, including Prof. Dr. Ayub Md. Som (Dean of Industry, Community & Alumni Network), Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sheila Belayutham, Dr. Mohd. Hafiz Mohd. Noh, and a group of postgraduate students from the College of Engineering attended the event.

The formation of a student section could offer significant possibilities for networking, mentorship, and community building based on shared experiences. Additionally, this section could serve as a vital connection between the academic and industrial communities, offering valuable support for both. As such, it could create a platform for students to engage in a more professional capacity, address industry-specific issues, and gain access to information and resources that could enhance their academic and professional pursuits.
