MAKASSAR, November 20th – The SENTRINOV event was held this year with the theme “Applied Sciences for the Earth and Sustainable Environment.” This event aimed to bring together researchers, scientists, and practitioners to develop practical solutions with positive environmental impacts. Over two days, from November 18th to 19th, 2023, over 300 participants from various universities, polytechnics, and industries in Indonesia and 112 participants from Indonesia, Australia, Thailand, Malaysia, and Singapore for IMCAS attended the event held at the Unhas Hotel & Convention Center.
SENTRINOV was organized by Ujung Pandang State Polytechnic in collaboration with ISAS, demonstrating their shared commitment to advancing science and technology in Indonesia. The IMCAS, as an international conference, brought together participants from different regions worldwide to apply science towards creating a sustainable environment. The conference served as a platform for knowledge exchange. It strengthened relationships between scientists, researchers, and practitioners worldwide, covering topics such as mechanical engineering, materials technology, energy, electrical engineering, information technology, management, and agriculture.
Education is one thing no one can take away from you.

The College of Engineering Postgraduate Studies participated in the event and had the privilege of opening an expo booth. The booth provided an opportunity to showcase postgraduate opportunities at UiTM and attract potential students from Indonesia. The experience proved overwhelmingly positive, with the chance to meet energetic participants and expand networking opportunities. We sincerely thank the organisers for their hospitality and for providing inspiration, new knowledge, and limitless collaboration opportunities.
