LOMBOK, November 25th – The Cisco Networking Academy UiTM visit program (18th – 22nd November 2023) in Lombok, Indonesia, is a collaborative effort between the College of Engineering UiTM and Cisco Networking Academy Malaysia. The program aims to provide formal academic exposure and corporate social responsibility to six postgraduate students from the College of Engineering.
The initiative’s primary objective is to serve as a student educational platform, facilitating collaboration between the College of Engineering Studies, Cisco Networking Academy, participating universities, and local communities. This endeavour aims to enhance the synergy value of UiTM, notably the College of Engineering, by strengthening its global strategic network.
The aim of education is knowledge, not of facts, but of values.

Programme’s Objectives:
- Develop a benchmark course integrating content from the Cisco Academy to enhance the comprehensive course of study.
- Foster collaboration among the College of Engineering Studies, Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM), Cisco Networking Academy Malaysia, Cisco Networking Academy Indonesia, Universitas Mataram, and Universitas Bumigora in Lombok, Indonesia.
- Promote the advancement of postgraduate programs, mainly targeting the international student population in Indonesia, contributing to the MyRA score, specifically in Section D, Postgraduate Quantity and Quality.
- Increase the visibility of lecturers’ expertise at the College of Engineering through strategic promotion.
This visit program indicates a significant step towards international collaboration and academic advancement, presenting valuable opportunities for knowledge exchange and global networking. The collaboration between the College of Engineering Studies and Cisco Networking Academy Malaysia demonstrates a commitment to fostering educational excellence and strategic partnerships, creating a platform for students to engage with diverse academic and cultural landscapes.
