MASTER OF SCIENCE (ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING)
Synopsis
MSc in EE is a supervised research program, culminating in submitting a shorter thesis than required for a PhD. The thesis must include results of original investigative work, which constitutes an advancement of knowledge. At least one school member will supervise the research work, and progress will be monitored throughout the study. Assessment is based on a viva voce and examination of the final thesis. The candidates are also expected to publish their research findings in conferences or journals. The research may be carried out either on a full-time or part-time basis.
- Explain and analyse advanced knowledge in management and multidisciplinary engineering areas (1)
- Assess numerical data related to engineering practises by integrating critical thinking and computational skills (2)
- Perform practical skills using appropriate digital tools and techniques in solving relevant current engineering problems (3)
- Select and use suitable digital and analytical techniques to research problems (7)
- Communicate cogently in the field/s and interact with specialist and general audience (6)

Entry Requirement
- Bachelor of Science (Hons.) from UiTM in a related and appropriate area of specialisation with a minimum CGPA of 2.75; OR
- Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent from other recognised universities approved by UiTM with a minimum CGPA of 2.75
- A candidate applying for this program must submit a research proposal to the school. The acceptance of a candidate shall be at the discretion of the UiTM Senate, whose decision shall be final.
