DOCTOR OF PHILOSOPHY (CHEMICAL ENGINEERING)
Synopsis
The doctoral program is a research-based program designed to award a PhD through advanced, independent and original research conducted with close supervision by qualified academics. Students can start the study based on their interest in chemical engineering in specialised areas such as energy, biotechnology, material and particle engineering, environmental and safety engineering, modelling and simulation, oil and gas engineering and process engineering. They have the opportunity to improve their abilities in research with exposure to current technologies and tools in chemical engineering. Upon enrolment, students are required to attend research methodology and entrepreneur courses. Students are expected to defend their research proposal upon completing these courses.
