MASTERS IN ENGINEERING MANAGEMENT
Synopsis
This course is introduced in line with the need to further expose working engineers and other professionals to related management tools. In many situations, professionals are always in a predicament when they are responsible for leading organisations or departments, as they lack managerial skills to the extent that it affects their performances.
PEO1: Managers/leaders with a technical background who strategically steer the organization with a clear vision, mission, decisive judgment as well as provide solutions to the related problems using advanced managerial tools and techniques.
- Apply knowledge and understanding on engineering technology, management, marketing and legislation in engineering management
- Derive solution on engineering related issues through scientific reasoning
PEO2: Prominent Managers/leaders with multi-disciplinary knowledge who lead and excel in new and competitive businesses and ensuring their sustainability.
- To display technical skills and tools in managing engineering projects from inception to completion

Entry Requirement
- Bachelor of Science (Hons.) from UiTM in a related and appropriate area of specialisation with a minimum CGPA of 2.75; OR
- Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent from other recognised universities approved by UiTM with a minimum CGPA of 2.75
